Dearest readers, Lady Whistledown is returning. Netflix has dropped a teaser trailer for Bridgerton season 2 which will begin streaming March 25.
The popular show returns to follow the familiar families of the ton, newcomers Kate (Simone Ashley) and Edwina (Charithra Chandran) Sharma, and Lord Anthony Bridgerton as he searches for love. The last role is played by Jonathan Bailey, who will soon grace the stage in a West End production of Mike Bartlett's Cock alongside Taron Egerton. He has previously won an Olivier Award for playing Jamie in Company.
Bailey is joined by other theatre veterans in the upcoming season such as Nicola Coughlan, Adjoa Andoh, Martins Imhangbe, and Luke Thompson, in addition to Julie Andrews, who voices Lady Whistledown.
