English, Buena Vista Social Club, Maybe Happy Ending, More Win Artios Awards for Casting

Winners of the international honors were unveiled February 26.

Winners of the 2026 Artios Awards, an international honor for casting professionals, were announced February 26 at simultaneous ceremonies in New York and London. Given by the Casting Society, the awards recognize the best in casting across stage and screen.

Broadway casting honors went to Stephen Kopel and Sujotta Pace for English; Xavier Rubiano, Tara Rubin, and Frankie Ramirez for Buena Vista Social Club; and Craig Burns and Jimmy Larkin for Maybe Happy Ending. Off-Broadway categories went to Rachel Hoffman and Charlie Hano for The Jonathan Larson Project; and Bernard Telsey, Will Cantler, and Destiny Lilly for MCC Theater's Shit. Meet. Fan. From the London stage scene, Alastair Coomer was recognized for the recent National Theatre revival of The Importance of Being Earnest. The Los Angeles Theatre category when to Rubin, Rubiana, Peter Van Dam, and Louis DiPaolo for Stephen Sondheim's Old Friends at Center Theatre Group, while the Regional category went to Lauren Port and Patrick Goodwin for Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil at the Goodman, and the Tour category went to Craig Burns for Parade. Geoff Josselson won the Special Theatrical Performance category, for The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.

The Society also awarded several non-competitive honors at the ceremonies, with the Marian Dougherty New York Apple Award going to Broadway Cares and the Lynn Stalmaster Award for Career Achievement going to Disney Branded Television President Ayo Davis. Laura Adler was posthumously honored with the Rosalie Joseph Humanitarian Award, and Julie Ashton received the Hoyt Bowers Award for Excellence in Casting. The Global Impact Award went to GAP Workshops, and the Capelier-Shaw Award for Excellence in Casting went to Kate Rhodes James. Receiving Associate Casting Director Spotlight Awards were Leslie Wasserman and Dustin Presley.

Presenters at the New York ceremony included Natalie Venetia Belcon (Buena Vista Social Club), Zach Cherry (Severance), Carl Clemons-Hopkins (Hacks), Carmen Ejogo (The Penguin), J. Harrison Ghee (Some Like It Hot), Francis Jue (Yellow Face), Li Jun Li (Sinners), Luke Manley (Marty Supreme), Sepideh Moafi (Blackbird), Javier Muñoz (Hamilton), Tony Vlachos (Survivor), and Zoë Winters (Materialists).
