The Manhattan Association of Cabarets (MAC) will present its 37th Annual MAC Awards April 4 at Peter Norton Symphony Space at 7:30 PM. Ken Page and Ricky Ritzel will be honored with Lifetime Achievement awards.
Page starred on Broadway in Guys and Dolls, Cats, Ain't Misbehavin', and It Ain't Nothin' But the Blues and is also known for having voiced Mr. Oogie Boogie in The Nightmare Before Christmas.
Ritzel previously earned the MAC Award for Outstanding Recurring Series 2017-2020 for Ricky Ritzel's Broadway and has received 22 MAC Awards in total. His revues include 1938, Porgy & Bess: A Cabaret Concert, and Ira and Others.
The awards show will be produced and directed by Michael Kirk Lane and Amy Wolk with Nate Buccieri serving as music director.
