The Drama League's Drama at the Disco Vol. 3: A Drama League Benefit will be held October 19 at 6 PM on The Edison Rooftop.

The annual event, dedicated to uplifting and amplifying the New York theatre community, includes the presentation of the Arts Ally Award, given to an industry member who strengthens the foundation upon which the arts stand. The 2026 honoree is Tony and Olivier-winning producer Tom Kirdahy (Just in Time, Ragtime, Hadestown). The presentation will be accompanied by tribute performances, with artists to be announced at a later time, plus a seated two-course dinner.

The celebration will subsequently continue at 8 PM with a rooftop dance party featuring live music from Third Reprise. Broadway stars will take the stage throughout the night, joining the band as attendees dance under the stars. Passed hors d’oeuvres and a dessert bar will also be served.

“Tom Kirdahy has helped bring some of the most exciting and meaningful theatre of our time to audiences around the world,” said Bevin Ross, executive director of The Drama League, in a statement. “Whether championing bold new work or reimagining beloved classics, his productions have reached millions and shown just how powerful live theatre can be. We are proud to honor Tom for the extraordinary impact he continues to have on our art form and our community.”

Tony-winning producer Kirdahy spent the first 20 years of his career as an attorney providing free legal services to people living with HIV/AIDS and carries on his passion for justice and advocacy through his service on the Executive Board of Broadway Cares, the Broadway League’s Board of Governors, and many years on the Executive Board of NYC's LGBT Center.

Since 1916, The Drama League has been at the forefront of the American theatre community, providing life-long artistic resources for directors and a platform for dialogue with audiences.
