The Flea Theater Re-Launches Year-Round Production Commission and Space Grant Programs
The programs provide financial investment, access to space, and vital infrastructure for artists.

The Flea Theater has re-launched their year-round production commission and space grant programs, furthering their commitment to supporting experimental artists and the development of their work.
The Production Commission program provides direct financial support to artists and ensembles developing new work intended for full production. The program has successfully launched a world premiere each year since The Flea’s refounding in 2021. Commissioned projects will receive a world premiere at the Flea, a commissioning fee, and dramaturgical and artistic guidance from the Flea's staff.
The space grant program offers up to a week of access to the Flea's performance space, free of cost, for rehearsals, workshops, readings, and showings.
