The Public's Off-Broadway world premiere of Shaina Taub's Suffs has been extended a second time for two more weeks, with performances now set to continue through May 15. The show began previews March 13 and officially opens April 6.
Written by Public Theater Artist-in-Residence Taub, Suffs examines the suffragists and forgotten women who worked against divides and oppression as part of the fight for the right to vote. Set in the years leading up to the Nineteenth Amendment, the show explores both victories and failures.
