Off-Broadway's Vineyard Theatre will hold an encore reading of Dael Orlandersmith's Spiritus April 13 at the DR2 Theatre.

Orlandersmith will serve as both playwright and reader for this presentation. The solo play, which is inspired by Dante's Inferno, centers on Virgil who, after experiencing a series of losses, reconnects with a Bronx friend now working as a funeral director. Together the pair embark on an unexpected journey that challenges their sense of identity, memory, and what it means to live with purpose.
