Jamie Allan magic show Amaze has recouped its initial investment Off-Broadway after 36 weeks and 363 performances. The three-time extended production is playing New World Stages through September 6.

“We’re thrilled by the continued support and enthusiasm for Amaze,” says Starvox Entertainment CEO Corey Ross, producer of the Off-Broadway run, in a statement. “In today’s world, audiences need a space for childlike wonder and pure awe. We’re proud to have brought forth a production that offers both.”

“Recouping before the one-year mark of sharing my story in New York City is a dream come true,” adds Allan. “I’m incredibly grateful for the audience's support.”

The show began its Off-Broadway run July 20, 2025, and officially opened August 13, coming stateside after a run at the Criterion Theatre in London's West End. Co-created by Allan and Tommy Bond, Amaze is directed by Jonathan Goodwin and also features Natalia Love.

Combining state-of-the-art technology with conjuring techniques, Amaze is described as a "story-driven magic show that puts the wonder directly into the hands of the audience and makes them feel part of the magic."

The creative team also includes illusion director Richard Young, set designer Damien Stanton, and sound designer Ryan Borshuk. The creative consultant and understudy is Harry De Cruz, the senior creative designer is Clare Nordbruch, the illusion production manager is Greg Frewin, creature effects are by Axtell Expressions, graphic design and photography are by Ingenious Design UK, and illusion fabrication is by Adam Topham, Greg Frewin, and Willie Kennedy.

Allan premiered his brand of iMagician on British TV in 1995 as a teenager, captivating audiences with his innovative approach. Since then, he has continued to push the boundaries of modern illusions, incorporating holograms, laser beams, 3D video mapping, and interactive social media to engage spectators.

Amaze is produced by Corey Ross and executive-produced by Steve Sterling.
