Off-Broadway's The Adding Machine Extends Run, Will Stream
Daphne Rubin-Vega, Jennifer Tilly, Sarita Choudhury, and Michael Cyril Creighton lead the cast.

The New Group has extended their Off-Broadway revival of The Adding Machine, which began previews March 24 at the Theater at St. Clement’s, which will now continue through May 17. Opening night is set for April 14.
The limited-engagement revival will also stream a filmed performance May 5 via The New Group’s partnership with The League of Live Stream Theater. The streaming initiative is part of The New Group's drive to provide theatre for all audiences and will include a 24-hour replay option for ticket holders.
Written by Elmer L. Rice, The Adding Machine follows the lives of Mr. Zero (Daphne Rubin-Vega), a worker who goes on a violent and existential journey to grapple with the fact that his boss has replaced him with a machine. This production is directed by Scott Elliott with revisions by Thomas Bradshaw.
In addition to Rubin-Vega, the cast includes Jennifer Tilly as Mrs. Zero, Sarita Choudhury as Daisy, and Michael Cyril Creighton as Everyone Else. Scenic design is by Derek McLane, costume design by Catherine Zuber, lighting design by Jeff Croiter, sound design by Stan Mathabane, and wig design by Tom Watson. The production stage manager is Valerie A. Peterson and the production supervisor is Five OHM.
