Beginning its previously announced Las Vegas run, NEWSical The Musical starts performances at V Theatre November 17. The show is presented in repertory with A Musical About Star Wars, which will begin performances at theatre located at The Miracle Mile Shops in Planet Hollywood November 19.

Musical comedy NEWSical The Musical by Rick Crom features sketches and original music numbers to parody everything from celebrity news to politics. The spoof-packed show, which ran Off-Broadway for a decade, returns to the Las Vegas stage, having previously played a sold-out, limited run at The Majestic Repertory last spring. The cast features members from the Off-Broadway productions, with Taylor Crousore, Kristen Alderson, Carly Sakolove, and Dylan Hartwell.

Joining NEWSical in repertory, A Musical About Star Wars follows super fans Scott and Taylor as they hope to garner attention from Comic Con presenters with their unauthorized musical about the fan favorite franchise. Featuring music and lyrics by Billy Recce, A Musical About Star Wars has a book penned by Tom D'Angora, Crousore, and Scott Richard Foster. Crousore and Sakolove also star in A Musical About Star Wars, joined by Gregory Sullivan.
