Atlanta's Alliance Theatre has revealed their 2026–27 season, which will feature 12 productions, including five world premieres.

Highlights include the world premiere of Alice in Neverland, a combined sequel to Alice in Wonderland and prequel to Peter Pan (February 20–April 4, 2027 at The Coca-Cola Stage). With a book, music, and lyrics by Phil Kenny and Reston Williams, it picks up 20 years after Alice's journey down the rabbit hole; as her life is falling apart, she sets out to return to Wonderland. Catie Davis will direct the production, with choreography by Dominique Kelley.

Brendan Pelsue's adaptation of Winnie the Pooh will make its world premiere April 10–June 20, 2027 at the Goizueta Stage for Youth & Families. Commissioned and developed by Alliance Theatre, the show explores the adventures of Pooh and all his friends: Piglet, Rabbit, Owl, Eeyore, and Christopher Robin. Leora Morris will direct.

Other world premieres during the season include Jacob Ryan Smith and Caroline Pernick's new musical Like Father (October 8–November 15, with choreography by Dell Howlett), about 17-year-old Chris who moves in with her mother and stepfather after her father is arrested; Rudi Goblen's Miseducated (January 27–February 21, 2027), an immersive work about high schoolers in a debate club; and Alanna Coby's Dictionary of the Vulgar Tongue (March 25–April 25, 2027), a satire that spans three centuries of a group of affluent women in Connecticut.

Other shows in the season include productions that had a hit run in New York: Nygel D. Robinson and Brian Quijada's musical Mexodus (October 2–16), about the Underground Railroad that ran to Mexico; Branden Jacobs-Jenkins' Tony-winning family drama Purpose (August 28–September 20, Keith Arthur Bolden will direct); and Kimberly Belflower's Broadway hit John Proctor is the Villain (May 14–June 6, 2027, Autumn Angelettie will direct).
