Theatre Row will present the new musical about the 1996 U.S. Women’s Olympic Gymnastics team this summer.

Theatre Row will present new musical The Magnificent Seven starting July 7 with a limited run through July 17 this summer. 

Starring in the production will be Tony nominee Caitlin Kinnunen (The Prom), Libby Servais (Wicked), Allison Posner (John Mulaney & the Sack Lunch Bunch), and Amy Linden (The Bridges of Madison County). Sam Heldt, MinJi Kim, Ellen Condon Macy, Evan Maltby, Josslyn Shaw, Raquel Williams, and Emmy nominee Lynne Marie Rosenberg also join the cast.

Directed by Nikki DiLoreto (Six), The Magnificent Seven features a book and lyrics by Gordon Leary, and music by Julia Meinwald (Pregnancy Pact). It follows the 1996 U.S. Women's Olympic Gymnastic Team at the Olympics in Atlanta as they work towards becoming champions, and the competition comes down to Kerri Strug nailing her vault, while injured, in the competition's group final to make their dreams of winning gold come true.

The production will feature music direction by Alex Ratner, choreography by Jessica Walker, scenic design by Meredith Ries, lighting design by Shannon Clarke, sound design by Elisabeth Weidner, and costume design by Jennifer Chi.

The 1996 U.S Women’s Olympic Gymnastics team featured Amanda Borden, Amy Chow, Dominique Dawes, Shannon Miller, Dominique Moceanu, Jaycie Phelps, and Kerri Strug, seven gymnasts who became known as The Magnificent Seven.
