Heartbreak Hotel opens March 24 at Off-Broadway's DR2 Theatre, and newly released production shots are offering a first look at the run. Take a look in the gallery below.

The work, written by Karin McCracken and created by EBKM, makes its U.S. premiere with the Off-Broadway bow, which follows earlier runs at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and London's Soho Theatre. New Zealand natives McCracken and Simon Leary star in the two-hander, exploring the mental anguish of breakups and what's needed to get a fresh start. Eleanor Bishop directs.

The production features scenic and lighting design by Filament Eleven 11 and sound design by Te Aihe Butler. Melanie Hamilton serves as creative producer.

The work comes to New York via Occasional Drawl, which is presenting Heartbreak Hotel in a season with James Hindman's The Exhibitionist, the latter set to perform May 19-June 28. Heartbreak Hotel continues through April 19.

Jeff Hiller serves as executive producer, with Occasional Drawl's Brian Letchworth and Christa Scott-Reed serving as lead producers.
