New production shots are offering a first look at the world premiere of Public Charge, a new play based on true events written by former U.S. Ambassador Julissa Reynoso and playwright Michael J. Chepiga, now at Off-Broadway's Public. Opening night is March 25, and performances began March 12. The company recently extended the run, which will now continue through April 12 in the Newman Theater.

Tony winner Doug Hughes is at the helm of the work, which centers on Reynoso's real-life experience supervising Caribbean and Central American affairs for Secretary of State Hillary Clinton after immigrating to the U.S. from the Dominican Republic and holding a role at a Wall Street law firm.
