Several West End stars, including Ramin Karimloo (most recently on Broadway in Anastasia), can be heard on the studio recording of the musical The Clockmaker’s Daughter, which premiered in London in 2015.
The recording of Michael Webborn and Daniel Finn’s musical fairy tale—out now—also features Christine Allado (Peggy Schuyler in Hamilton), Fra Fee (The Ferryman), Matthew Croke (Disney’s Aladdin), and Lauren James Ray (Wicked).
The Clockmaker’s Daughter is set in the fictional Irish town of Spindlewood, which has its traditions, including The Turning of the Key. Every year, on the last night of winter, as the first day of spring unfolds, the townsfolk gather to take part in the strange ritual.
