Joy Machine Records will release the first single from its upcoming Off-Broadway cast album of Keen Company's world premiere musical All the World's a Stage January 23 for streaming and digital purchase, but Playbill has an exclusive first listen. Watch star Matt Rodin sing "Pieces, Together" from the Adam Gwon musical in the video below.

The musical's original cast—including Eliza Pagelle as Sam, Jon-Michael Reese (A Strange Loop) as Michael, Rodin (Beau) as Ricky, and Elizabeth Stanley (Jagged Little Pill) as Dede—reassembled to record the score October 7 and 8, 2025. The work made its world premiere in 2025, winning Best Musical at the 2025 Off Broadway Alliance Awards. Jonathan Silverstein directed, and casting was by Geoff Joselson.

The musical, a Keen Company commission, follows a small-town math teacher coaching a misfit student for the 1996 State Thespian Convention. But his carefully compartmentalized life starts to fray thanks to a devout school secretary. See what critics had to say about the original musical here.

The album is being produced by Neal Avron, Andrea Grody, Gwon, and Michelle Noh. Recording is by Derik Lee, and Avron is mixing. Grody is music directing, leading the band as they play the musical's orchestrations by Michael Starobin.
