The original U.K. cast recording of SIX the Musical has been certified Platinum, marking sales for the 2018 release that exceed one million units.

The studio album features the musical's original London cast, including Renée Lamb as Catherine of Aragon, Christina Modestou as Anne Boleyn, Natalie Paris as Jane Seymour, Genesis Lynea as Anna of Cleves, Aimie Atkinson as Catherine Howard, and Izuka Hoyle as Catherine Parr.

To celebrate the milestone, a limited-edition platinum vinyl pressing will be released in this fall. Pre-orders are available here.

The recording has been a central part of the show’s international success, topping the Billboard Cast Album Chart. Alongside the show's Broadway live cast recording, the show's score has been collectively streamed in excess of five billion times worldwide. Both albums are available across all major streaming platforms, as well as on CD and vinyl.

Six—about the six wives of Henry VIII—premiered at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2017, transferring to London's West End the same year. A Broadway transfer opened in 2021 at the now-Lena Horne Theatre, where it continues. Written by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss, the musical is co-directed by Moss and Jamie Armitage and features choreography by Carrie-Anne Ingrouille, scenic design by Emma Bailey, costume design by Gabriella Slade, lighting design by Tim Deiling, and sound design by Paul Gatehouse.

The score features orchestrations by Tom Curran with music supervision by Joe Beighton.

Six won the 2022 Tony for Best Original Score (music and lyrics) and the Outer Critics Circle Award for Best Musical. The West End production continues at the Vaudeville Theatre in London.
