Broadway Cares Early Bidding Now Open for Broadway Flea Market; 9 More Shows Join Lineup of Tables Selling Theatre Memorabilia

Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS' annual event will be held in person and online.

Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, as previously reported, will present the annual Broadway Flea Market & Grand Auction September 25 10 AM-7PM. Held in Times Square's Shubert Alley, the fan event will offer opportunities to participate in person and online.

Virtual chats with Tony winners, limited edition Al Hirschfeld prints signed by Broadway stars, and more are just a few of the items now open for early bids.

Plus, nine more Broadway shows have joined the lineup of 52 tables filling the heart of New York City’s theatre  district: Beetlejuice, Come From Away, Dear Evan Hansen, Funny Girl, Hadestown, The Lion King, Moulin Rouge! The Musical, Six, and Some Like it Hot. These productions join the previously announced Aladdin, Company, Into the Woods, The Kite Runner, The Music Man, The Phantom of the Opera, POTUS, A Strange Loop, Tina: The Tina Turner Musical, and Wicked plus 38 theatrical organizations. The full list of participants and map of tables is available by clicking here.

The day-long event will end with the live auction at 5 PM, hosted by two-time Tony nominee Christopher Sieber, who will be joined by auctioneer Nick Nicholson. Fans will have the chance to bid on theatre memorabilia as well as unique experiences, with early bidding already open on some lots.

Currently available for early bidding are signed Al Hirschfeld illustration giclées; one-on-one virtual meetings with Tony winners Kristin Chenoweth, Gavin Creel, Nathan Lane, Brian Stokes Mitchell, Bebe Neuwirth, Kelli O’Hara, Bernadette Peters, David Hyde Pierce, Chita RiveraLillias White, Tony nominee Sara Bareilles, and more; lunch with two-time Tony winner and Emmy winner Donna Murphy; Zoom meetings with Tony winners Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Victoria Clark with two VIP house seats to see Take Me Out and Kimberly Akimbo; and tickets and Playbills for the opening-night performances of 1776, Almost Famous, KPOP, Leopoldstadt, The Piano Lesson, Ohio State Murders, Some Like it Hot, Topdog/Underdog, and more.

Broadway Cares will also offer lots exclusively available through FleaBay September 19-24. Most items will be available for immediate purchase rather than through a more traditional bidding-style auction.
