Broadway's Just in Time has unveiled more new casting coming to the Bobby Darin jukebox musical. As previously announced, the musical will welcome Matthew Morrison as Darin for a limited run beginning April 1, and Jeremy Jordan in the role beginning April 21. They won't, however, be the only new faces at the Circle in the Square Theatre.
Beginning April 1, Tony winner Debbie Gravitte will succeed Tony winner Michele Pawk as Polly. Carrie St. Louis will succeed Sadie Dickerson as Sandra Dee beginning April 21. Pawk's final performance will be March 29, and Dickerson's final bow will be April 19.
Gravitte is a Tony winner for her 1989 performance in the Jerome Robbins choreography retrospective Jerome Robbins' Broadway, which featured the performer filling the shoes of taxi driver Hildy in On the Town, trumpet-playing stripper Mazeppa in Gypsy, and America-hating Rosalia in West Side Story. Just in Time will be Gravitte's first time back on Broadway full-time since starring as Matron "Mama" Morton in Chicago in 2003, with her additional Main Stem credits including They're Playing Our Song, Perfectly Frank, Blues in the Night, Zorba, Les Misérables, and Ain't Broadway Grand.
St. Louis will join the production after earlier starring Broadway stints in Kinky Boots, Rock of Ages, and Wicked.
Just in Time opened on Broadway April 26, 2025. Tony winner Alex Timbers is at the helm of the immersive staging. The show tracks Darin's life story and sees the lead performer (currently Tony winner Jonathan Groff) performing the crooner's greatest hits, including "Beyond the Sea," "Splish Splash," and "Mack the Knife."

The work, developed by Timbers and based on an original concept by Ted Chapin, features a book by Tony winner Warren Leight and Isaac Oliver (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel). Shannon Lewis choreographs with music supervision and arrangements by Andrew Resnick.
The production also features scenic design by two-time Tony winner Derek McLane (Death Becomes Her), costume design by eight-time Tony winner Catherine Zuber (Moulin Rouge!), lighting design by Tony winner Justin Townsend (Here Lies Love), and sound design by Tony winner Peter Hylenski (Maybe Happy Ending).
Scott Rowen is the production stage manager, and Live Wire Theatrical is the general manager. Tom Kirdahy, Robert Ahrens, John Frost, and Groff are producing.
