The Great Gatsby has found a new narrator.
Film, television, and stage star Corbin Bleu (High School Musical, Kiss Me Kate) will join the Broadway company as Nick Carraway later this spring, after starring in the West End production last year. Bleu joins the company March 30, alongside John Behlmann (Tootsie, Shucked) as Tom Buchanan.
As previously announced, Eva Noblezada (Hadestown, Miss Saigon) will return to the Broadway production as Daisy Buchanan on March 4. Through March 2, the role of Daisy will be shared by Traci Elaine Lee, Elena Ricardo, and Kyla Stone.
Noblezada, Tony-nominated for her performances in Miss Saigon and Hadestown, will briefly be reunited with original Gatsby co-star Jeremy Jordan (who returned to the role in November 2025 after his Tony-nominated turn in Floyd Collins) through his final performance March 7. Ryan McCartan will again step into the title role February 5-9 and March 8-29.
Beginning March 30, Reeve Carney (Spider-Man Turn Off the Dark) will make his debut as Jay Gatsby, playing opposite his real-life wife, Noblezada. The newlyweds have a long history of sharing the stage, in the Broadway and London productions of Hadestown as well as the London revival of Cabaret. The Great Gatsby, however, will mark their first time performing on Broadway as husband and wife—the couple married in October of last year.
The Broadway cast of Gatsby also currently features Michael Maliakel as Nick, Linedy Genao as Myrtle Wilson, Austin Colby as Tom Buchanan, Samantha Pauly as Jordan Baker, Charlie Pollock as George Wilson, and Eric Anderson as Meyer Wolfsheim.
The production’s ensemble includes Alexis Hasbrouck, Curtis Holland, Nathaniel Hunt, Traci Elaine Lee, Dariana Mullen, Mariah Reives, Elena Ricardo, Dan Rosales, Dave Schoonover, Mike Schwitter, Tess Soltau, Preston Taylor, Jessica Mallare White, Matt Wiercinski, and Kyla Stone. Kurt Csolak, Haley Fish, Morgan Harrison, Justin Keats, Drew Lake, Brandon J. Large, Alicia Lundgren, and Alex Prakken round out the cast as swings.
Based on the classic F. Scott Fitzgerald novel, The Great Gatsby features music and lyrics by Nathan Tysen (Paradise Square) and Jason Howland (Beautiful: The Carole King Musical) and a book by Jonathan Larson Grant winner Kait Kerrigan (The Mad Ones). Marc Bruni (Beautiful: The Carole King Musical) directs with choreography by Dominique Kelley (Mariah’s Magical Christmas Special).
Set in the Roaring '20s, the musical follows eccentric millionaire Jay Gatsby, who will stop at nothing in his tragic pursuit of Daisy Buchanan, a wealthy young woman whom he loved in his youth.
