Just in Time opened on Broadway April 26, 2025. Tony winner Alex Timbers is at the helm of the immersive staging. The show tracks Darin's life story and sees the Tony winner Jonathan Groff as Darin performing the crooner's greatest hits, including "Beyond the Sea," "Splish Splash," and "Mack the Knife."

Groff continues to lead the cast as Darin, but his successors are already waiting in the wings. Groff takes his final bow in the musical March 29, with Glee alum Matthew Morrison stepping into the role for a three-week limited run April 1. The Great Gatsby star Jeremy Jordan will take over beginning April 21.
The cast also includes Sarah Hyland (Modern Family), Sadie Dickerson (Vladimir), Tony winner Pawk (Wicked), Joe Barbara (A Bronx Tale The Musical), Drama Desk nominee Bergl (Good Night, Oscar), Lance Roberts (The Music Man), Caesar Samayoa (Come From Away), Claire Camp (Cats), Julia Grondin (Funny Girl), Valeria Yamin (Moulin Rouge!), Tari Kelly (Mr. Saturday Night), Matt Magnusson (A Wonderful World), Khori Michelle Petinaud (Lempicka), Larkin Reilly (Bad Cinderella), and Jeffrey Schecter (A Chorus Line).
As recently reported, Pawk will play her final performance March 29, with Tony and Grammy Award winner Debbie Gravitte taking over April 1. Sdie Dickerson will play her final performance April 19, with Carrie St. Louis taking over on April 21.
The work, developed by Timbers and based on an original concept by Ted Chapin, features a book by Tony winner Warren Leight and Oliver (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel). Shannon Lewis choreographs with music supervision and arrangements by Andrew Resnick.
The production also features scenic design by two-time Tony winner Derek McLane (Death Becomes Her), costume design by eight-time Tony winner Catherine Zuber (Moulin Rouge!), lighting design by Tony winner Justin Townsend (Here Lies Love), and sound design by Tony winner Peter Hylenski (Maybe Happy Ending).
Scott Rowen is the production stage manager, and Live Wire Theatrical is the general manager. Tom Kirdahy, Robert Ahrens, John Frost, and Groff are producing.
