Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company and Baltimore Center Stage will present their co-production of Jordan E. Cooper's Ain't No Mo' at the Baltimore Center Stage in Maryland beginning October 27, following its current run at Woolly Mammoth in Washington, D.C. through October 9. Lili-Anne Brown directs the regional premiere, which will open at Baltinore Center Stage November 3, with a run through November 20.

Starring in the cast are Jon Hudson Odom as Peaches, Shannon Dorsey as Passenger 1, Breon Arzell as Passenger 2, Shannon Matesky as Passenger 3, Brandi Porter as Passenger 4, and LaNisa Renee Frederick as Passenger 5.

The comedy imagines what would happen if the U.S. government offered Black Americans one-way plane tickets to Africa. Audiences take a trip on African-American Airlines flight 1619 with drag queen Peaches as the attendant for the bumpy ride. Ain't No Mo' made its world-premiere at Off-Broadway's The Public Theater in 2019.

The creative team includes scenic designer Arnel Sancianco, lighting designer Colin K. Bills, costume designer Yvonne Miranda, sound designer Tosin Olufolabi, fight and intimacy choreographer Jyreika Guest, stage manager Natalie Chernicoff, assistant stage manager Maddie Friedman, and makeup and special effects stylist Dana Hurd.

Ain't No Mo' will soon take the stage on Broadway as well. Written and performed by Jordan E. Cooper, the work will be mounted at the Belasco Theatre, with previews set to begin November 3 and opening night set for December 1. Stevie Walker-Webb, currently directing Baltimore Center Stage's Our Town, will direct the Broadway production of Ain't No Mo'.
