Benefits and Galas Casting Set for 1-Night-Only Seattle Concert of Signs of Life Musical

Charity Angél Dawson, Bella Coppola, Jenn Colella, and more will perform at the event, a benefit for Seattle Theatre Group's education programs.

Astro Lab Productions will host a one-night-only concert of the musical Signs of Life at Seattle, Washington's Neptune Theatre February 23. The evening will support Seattle Theatre Group's education programs.

Performing the Christopher DeLair musical will be Jenn Colella (Suffs), Bella Coppola (Smash), Damon Daunno (Oklahoma!), Charity Angél Dawson (Waitress), Alexa Green (Wicked), Aoife O'Donovan, Solea Pfeiffer (Moulin Rouge! The Musical), and the band Lucius, along with Cayman Ilika, Cassi Q Kohl, and Veronica Otim.

Signs of Life tells an original story about a young man coming of age in a dysfunctional Long Island family who gets some assistance from the 12 signs of the zodiac. 

A concept album, featuring performances from much of the cast of the Seattle concert performance, is due to release later this year. Dan Molad is producing, mixing, and engineering the release with co-producer and music supervisor Chris Ranney. Concert cast members Daunno, Pfeiffer, Colella, Coppola, Dawson, Green, and O'Donovan all appear on the album, alongside Shoshana Bean, Celisse, Leif Coomer, Deborah Cox, Jinkx Monsoon, and Vanessa Williams.
