Lillias White Will Open Core Theatre Group Season With March Concert

The Warwick, New York company's new season also includes stagings of Buyer and Cellar and The Addams Family.

Hudson Valley theatre company Core Theatre Group has unveiled their 2026 season, which will kick off with a concert from Tony winner Lillias White March 16. White, most recently seen in Broadway's Hadestown, will be joined by Dennis Stowe (Aladdin) and performers from the local area. The concert will be offered at Forge 28 Studios.

The company's first theatrical offering of the season will be Jonathan TolinsBuyer and Cellar, with Remy Germinario starring. Performances will run April 24-25 at The Sugar Loaf Performing Arts Center, with Michael Kushner at the helm. Carbonell winner Elena Maria Garcia and Chris Perez will bring their show Do You Speak Mexican? to the company May 15-16, performing at The Theatre at Mountain Lake Park.

Other planned offerings include a co-production of The Addams Family with Warwick Center for the Performing Arts, a production of Love Letters starring Tony winner Randy Graff, the second annual benefit concert Core in the City Cabaret at The Laurie Beechman Theatre in NYC, an industry concert of Paul Loesel and Scott Burkell's LMNOP, and a 2027 collaboration with Casey Likes (Heathers). Dates, casting, and creative teams are to be announced.
