Tony winner Debbie Gravitte (Jerome Robbins' Broadway) will launch a new concert-interview series next month at Birdland, entitled Debbie Gravitte Plus One…
"I have surprise guests, and because I actually know these people pretty well, I'm excited to ask some fun questions and sing and carry on," Gravitte told Playbill.
In addition to her Tony-winning turn in Jerome Robbins' Broadway, Gravitte has also appeared on Broadway in They're Playing Our Song, Perfectly Frank, Blues in the Night, Ain't Broadway Grand, Zorba, Chicago, and Les Misérables,as well as the City Center Encores! productions of Carnival, The Boys from Syracuse, and Tenderloin.

Charles Busch, Marilyn Maye, Debbie Gravitte and more will offer concerts at the intimate 54 Below in the coming months. They offered a preview the morning of Feb. 26.
The Off-Broadway company has released the first names for its annual concert: Lea Michele, Ruthie Ann Miles, Brian Stokes Mitchell, a Severance star, and more.
The concerts will follow a London engagement of the Jason Robert Brown musical, with the composer conducting the two stars on both sides of the Atlantic.
The performances will be the last chance to see original stars Ann Harada, Julie Halston, Jackie Hoffman, and Anika Larsen performing the legendary wit's own words.
