Married Broadway favorites Patti Murin (Frozen) and Colin Donnell (Ragtime) are joining forces for an evening celebrating the work of George and Ira Gershwin March 14 in the San Diego Symphony's Jacobs Music Center.

Entitled The Gershwins on Broadway with Rob Fisherthe concert will feature music direction and piano accompaniment by Fisher with vocals by Murin and Donnell. The artists will also be accompanied by Kevin Ramessar on guitar, Mark Vanderpoel on double bass, and Erik Charlston on percussion. (The San Diego Symphony Orchestra is not part of the evening.)

Attendees can expect to hear a mix of the Gershwins' love songs and ballads, journeying through the romantic heart of the Great American Songbook and Broadway standards. Titles will include "Someone to Watch Over Me," "Embraceable You," and "'S Wonderful" as well as such lesser-known gems as "Half of It Deary Blues" and "I Don't Think I'll Fall in Love Today."

“Patti and Colin and I worked together on the Gershwins' Lady, Be Good! at Encores!," Fisher told Playbill. "Not only do I love working with them, it’s a wonderful full circle collaboration.” Murin and Donnell, in fact, will reprise “So Am I" from Lady, Be Good!, a song they performed a few months before they married.

Murin has also appeared on Broadway in Lysistrata Jones and Xanadu. Donnell's additional Broadway credits include The Shark Is Broken, Anything Goes, Violet, and Jersey Boys.
