See Who's Starring in The Trouble With Dead Boyfriends at the Beechman
The Alex Petti-penned monster musical is getting a one-night-only concert presentation.

Black Watch Theatre has found more casting for its upcoming concert presentation of Alex Petti's The Trouble With Dead Boyfriends, set to perform March 10 at the Laurie Beechman Theatre in NYC. The concert will also stream live.
Featuring music and lyrics by Petti and a book by Annie Pulsipher, the monster musical follows three teenage best friends who endeavor to conjure up hot prom dates, only to end up with monsters that must be slain to save the town. The musical got an Off-Broadway run at Players Theatre in 2023.
The concert performance will star Cara Rose DiPietro (Elsbeth) as Madison, Ellis Gage (White Rose) as Silence, Ashley D. Kelley (Shucked) as Stella, Analise Scarpaci (Mrs. Doubtfire) as Grace, Jimmy Brewer (Scotland, PA) as Zachary, Ben Jackson Walker (& Juliet) as Lucian, Nicholas Parker, and Marissa Rosen (Bat Boy) as Smiley Cindy. Casting is by Daryl Eisenberg.
Rachel Klein is directing, and Sheela Ramesh will music direct. The concert is being produced in association with Kampfire Films.
