New York's Hudson Valley will host a three-day outdoor concert featuring a starry roster of Broadway favorites this summer. The Festival will be held August 14-16 at Hutton Brickyards in Kingston, New York.
The lineup set to perform includes Audra McDonald, Kelli O’Hara, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Christopher Jackson, Brian Stokes Mitchell, Amber Ardolino, Julie Benko, Denée Benton, Tommy Bracco, Jason Robert Brown, Norbert Leo Butz, Jenn Colella, Cara Rose DiPietro, Tyler Joseph Ellis, Mandy Gonzalez, James Monroe Iglehart, Tom Kitt, Casey Likes, Eva Noblezada, Lauren Patten, Seth Rudetsky, Ben Levi Ross, Talia Suskauer, Adrienne Warren, and Joy Woods, with more to be announced.
The event is also planning a 30th anniversary celebration of the landmark Tony- and Pulitzer-winning musical Rent, featuring original cast members Wilson Jermaine Heredia, Jesse L. Martin, Adam Pascal, and Anthony Rapp.
The event will combine concert performances with "immersive fan experiences," according to press notes, the latter including campfire sing-alongs, a piano bar, a dance party from Broadway Rave, theatrical costume contests, lectures, panels, master classes, and more, along with locally sourced food and beverages from Hudson Valley chefs and mixologists and a marketplace spotlighting local artisans, makers, and merchants.
Jerry Mitchell and D.B. Bonds are directing the inaugural event, which will also pay tribute to theatrical non-profit Broadway Cares. Josh Saltman's A Weekend in the Country is producing, along with David B. Schwartz.
Ticket pre-sales will begin March 3 with registration at BroadwayFest.com. General sales will begin March 6.
