Critics are sharing their thoughts on A Simulacrum, the newest play from Tony nominee Lucas Hnath which opened Off-Broadway at Atlantic Theater Company's Stage 2 June 14. Performances began May 25, and the production plays through June 25.

The meta-theatrical play explores when illusionist Steve Cuiffo showed Hnath a series of magic tricks while the pair were collaborating on Dana H. The piece stars Cuiffo, and features direction by Hnath.
