Jeff Cohen's The Soap Myth has set a limited engagement for New York's Southampton Cultural Center's Levitas Center for the Arts August 10–28.

Directed by Lucille Lortel Award winner Harris Yulin, the production will star Tony winner John Rubinstein (Children of a Lesser GodPippin), two-time Tony nominee Bob Gunton (EvitaThe Shawshank Redemption), Drama Desk winner Carolyn McCormick (Law & OrderEquus), and Rachel Sachnoff. The production will be Gunton's first New York-area stage performance in three decades.

The work, which played an Off-Off-Broadway run in 2012, centers on a Holocaust survivor who teams up with a young journalist to correct the historical record after two Holocaust scholars reclassify a Nazi atrocity as a myth.
