The story of Winn Dixie has leaped off the page and come to life at The Goodspeed in East Haddam, Connecticut, now playing through September 1.
With music from Tony winner Duncan Sheik (Spring Awakening) and lyrics and book by Tony nominee Nell Benjamin (Legally Blonde), Because of Winn Dixie is based on Kate DiCamillo’s novel of the same name about a Southern town filled with lost souls that might earn a new “leash on life” when a preacher and his daughter take in a mutt named Winn Dixie.
