Ruth Stage will present Edward Albee's At Home at the Zoo next year. Granted permission from the prolific playwright's estate, the New Jersey company will stage the "complete and fully realized" version of The Zoo Story. It will run for three nights only at the Jersey Shore Arts Center, January 15-January 17.
Theo Devaney will direct the "visceral, psychologically-charged experience as domestic intimacy collides with feral desperation—culminating in the park bench encounter that changed American theatre forever," per press notes.
The cast will include three-time Emmy Award winner Christian Jules LeBlanc, Nancy Lemenager (Chicago), and Matt de Rogatis.
