Asbury Park Theater Company will produce the New Jersey premiere of Michael R. Jackson and Anna K. Jacobs' musical Teeth next year. Performances will run November 13-22 at Neptune, New Jersey's Jersey Shore Arts Center.
Presented through a special licensing agreement with Concord Theatricals, this production will be one of the first productions of the musical after its acclaimed Off-Broadway runs at Playwright's Horizons and New World Stages in NYC. The production will be directed and choreographed by the show’s original creative choreographer, Raja Feather Kelly.
Based on the cult classic film of the same name, Teeth is a savage musical satire. Dawn O’Keefe is an evangelical Christian teen with a powerful secret not even she understands: when men violate her, her body bites back—literally.
Further staff, casting, and other details will be announced at a later date.
Tickets are currently on sale through TicketLeap, which includes a special VIP Splash Zone for each performance. Ticket holders will receive a poncho at their seat.
