Edinburgh Fringe favorites Diana: The Untold and Untrue Story and Gwyneth Goes Skiing will travel across the pond to make premieres across the United States next year. The two hits from Linus Karp and Joseph Martin received rave reviews in their respective Edinburgh Fringe runs in 2023 and 2024, and are now heading to New York City, Los Angeles, and Aspen, Colorado.
Diana: The Untold and Untrue Story will make its New York premiere at SoHo Playhouse January 6-10 before heading to Wheeler Opera House in Aspen, Colorado January 21-24. It will make its Los Angeles debut at The Elysian Theater January 25-January 28. The show combines drag, multimedia, audience interaction, puppetry, and queer joy to tell the untold (and untrue) story of The People's Princess and the other royals.
Gwyneth Goes Skiing will premiere in Aspen, Colorado at the Wheeler Opera House January 14-16, then will run in Los Angeles at the Elysian Theater January 21-24. The musical, based on real testimonies from trial, reimagines the infamous skiing accident between Oscar winner Gwyneth Paltrow and a retired optometrist, who filed suit against Paltrow, claiming that he was left with a concussion, four broken ribs and a brain injury that required compensation.
