The Huntington production of the Tony-winning musical Fun Home began performances November 14 at the Boston venue. Watch highlights from the production, which continues through December 14, in the video below.

Directed by Logan Ellis, the cast features Sarah Bockel as Alison, Maya Jacobson as Medium Alison, Lyla Randall as Small Alison, Nick Duckart as Bruce Bechdel, Jennifer Ellis as Helen Bechdel, Odin Vega as Christian Bechdel, Caleb Levin as John Bechdel, Wyatt Anton as Roy, and Sushma Saha as Joan. Understudies include Maren Phifer, Maya Bea Scott-Luib, Ryan Spry, and Nick Sulfaro.

The actors are backed by musicians Max Boras, Paola Andrea Caballero, Doug Lippincott, Mike Rivard, Bill Vint, and Peter Zay.

Featuring music by Tony winner Jeanine Tesori, a book and lyrics by Tony winner Lisa Kron, and based on the graphic novel by Alison Bechdel, Fun Home introduces audiences to Alison at three different ages, revealing memories of her uniquely dysfunctional family.

Following a 2013 world premiere Off-Broadway run, the musical made the jump to Broadway in 2015, winning five Tony Awards, including Best Musical. Tesori and Kron's win for their score and book made history as the first time an all-female writing team took both categories.
