A Summer of Comedy is coming to Cherry Lane Theatre Off-Broadway!
The season, which runs from July 11–August 4, will feature numerous comedians presenting their comedy specials in residency. Featured comedians include Annie Hamilton, Jes Tom, Emmy Blotnick, and Mo Welch.
Annie Hamilton returns to the Cherry Lane following a previously sold out run of her special, Looking for Papa. Previously seen in the television shows Hawkeye and Dickinson, Looking for Papa will run July 11, 12, and 18 at 7 PM. She will be followed by Jes Tom, an Asian American Trans actor, writer, and comic whose existential special, Less Lonely, will be presented by Trans icon Elliot Page July 13–July 15 at 7 PM.
Emmy Blotnick, a comedy writer who has written for The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and Mel Brooks' History of the World: Part 2, will present An Evening of Stand-Up July 19–22 at 7 PM. Mo Welch will close out the summer season with her show Mole, which blends her distinctive cartoon art style and comedy into a unique special that will be presented August 3 and 4 at 7 PM.
