Dramatists Guild Foundation honors playwright Paula Vogel, men’s fashion designer Jeffrey Banks, and foundation board member Barbara Olcott October 24. The annual gala takes place at New York City’s Ziegfeld Ballroom.

Vogel is this year’s dramatist honoree. The two-time Tony nominee’s Pulitzer-winning work How I Learned to Drive played a 2022 Broadway revival with members of the show’s original cast—including Mary-Louise Parker and David Morse. Vogel's other stage credits include Indecent, The Long Christmas Ride Home, The Mineola Twins, The Baltimore Waltz, Hot’n’Throbbing, Desdemona, And Baby Makes Seven, The Oldest Profession, and A Civil War Christmas.

The foundation celebrates its 60th anniversary with the gala, marking decades of supporting theatremakers through financial resources and educational programming.
