Freestyle Love Supreme will give a special performance May 13 at Tribeca 360 benefitting the LUNGevity Foundation, an organization dedicated to improving and transforming the way that people are diagnosed with lung cancer through groundbreaking research, education, and support.
The brainchild of Tony and Pulitzer Prize winner Lin-Manuel Miranda (Hamilton), director Thomas Kail (Hamilton), and Anthony Veneziale, Freestyle Love Supreme has been performing since 2004, with Broadway runs in 2019 and 2021. They received a Special 2020 Tony Award. Since that last Broadway run, the show has toured the U.S. and played The Venetian in Las Vegas. The improvised performances live off audience suggestions, with games and performances unique to each individual performance. The group was chronicled in the Hulu documentary We Are Freestyle Love Supreme.
The group has been made up of different members throughout its various Broadway and regional stagings. Andrew Bancroft (Jelly Donut), Aneesa Folds, and Kaila Mullady (Beatboxer) will perform at the LUNGevity Benefit.
Tickets to the event, as well as several tiers of sponsorship, are available now. For the full list of tickets and sponsorships, click here. All tickets and sponsorships directly benefit the LUNGevity Foundation.
