Alex Newell, Kate Baldwin, Brandon Contreras, More Join Salon Fundrasier

Mark MacKillop will host the salon and cocktail party event to benefit Broadway Cares.

Mark MacKillop will host a salon and cocktail party fundraiser for Broadway Cares featuring a star-studded roster of performers. Hosted in Jamie Drake's home for just 40 guests, the intimate event will be held April 27.

The evening will feature performances by Alex Newell (Shucked), Kate Baldwin (Hello, Dolly!), Brandon Contreras (Operation Mincemeat), David Burtka (It Shoulda Been You), and Sam Gravitte (Wicked), all accompanied by Michael Cuschieri on piano.

Reservations are available with a $500 donation to Broadway Cares. MacKillop has directed those interested to DM him on Instagram for information about how to donate. Only 40 tickets are available.

MacKillop launched the fundraiser in hopes of reaching his personal goal of one million dollars raised for Broadway Cares, which is one of the nation’s leading industry-based, nonprofit AIDS fundraising and grant-making organizations. By drawing upon the talents, resources, and generosity of the American theatre community, since 1988 Broadway Cares has awarded more than $300 million for essential services for people with HIV/AIDS and other critical illnesses across the United States.
