Beginning March 21, the second season of Broadway's Masked Singer will air for four consecutive weeks at 8 PM ET on Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS' YouTube channel. The competition will feature eight of Broadway's favorites singing to win the title.
And who doesn't want to watch a whale singing Hamilton's "You'll Be Back" in a hot tub?
This season's panel will include season 1 winner Nic Rouleau (The Book of Mormon, Hello, Dolly!) and runner-up Jelani Remy (Ain't Too Proud - The Life and Times of The Temptations, The Lion King) in addition to Natalie Weiss (Breaking Down the Riffs), Ben Cameron (Wicked), Jackie Cox (RuPual's Drag Race), Hayley Podschun (Wicked), Nick Cearley (The Skivvies), and more.
These Broadway singers will wear head-to-toe costumes to perform anonymously, while viewers will be able participate by voting for their favorite performances to move singers to the next round. Voting happens by way of donating to Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. Competitors with the least amount of donations will be unmasked and eliminated until the finale.
