Industry News National Dance Institute Gala to Honor Brian Stokes Mitchell

The Tony winner and Ragtime star will receive an Artistic Honoree Award.

The National Dance Institute's 46th Annual Gala will celebrate Tony winner Brian Stokes Mitchell and Artistic Director Emerita Ellen Weinstein. The event is set for NYC's Ziegfeld Ballroom April 11 at 6 PM, with proceeds benefitting the non-profit arts organization. 

Expected attendees include Mandy Patinkin and Kathryn Grody, Charlotte d’Amboise, Arian Moayed, Daniel Ulbricht, Edward Villella, Allegra Kent, Ashley Bouder, Frank Wood, and Christopher d’Amboise. The gala will also feature a performance by The Children of NDI.

The organization aims to bring dance, music, and arts education to children across the world. At the event, the Ragtime performer will receive an Artistic Honoree award from NDI.

Also in attendance will be executive director Juan José Escalante, artistic director Kathryn Gayner, and resident artist Frederick Earl Mosely.
