London's Brooklyn Rep is putting their money where their mouths are with a performance in the real Brooklyn. The company will present a one-night-only benefit reading of Jesse Morgan Young and Matthew Sherbach's The Leads (FKA Glengarry Glen Faggot) November 16 at Life World in Bushwick. Charles Quittner (All the Fraudulent Horse Girls) is directing.

Described as "a queer disassembly of a very straight, critically acclaimed play," the work follows the performance of a very masc play that gets co-opted by its unseen characters with off-script ideas. The upcoming performance, which will benefit G.L.I.T.S., will be followed by a pizza party.

The cast will feature theatre journalist Adam Feldman as incendiary Glengarry Glen Ross playwright David Mamet, along with Becca Blackwell (Is This a Room), Ái Vy Luu, Joanie Drago, Ashton Muñiz, La Zavaleta (Dragula), Theresa Buchheister, Kemah Bob, Amando Houser (aka Delia Delia), JJ Maley, Shelton Lindsay, and Reuben Butchart.

The reading will feature tech design by Nick Auer.

Tickets are available at RestlessNites.com.
