Lastingness, a benefit to support Off-Broadway's The Tent Theater Company, will be held December 8 at 7 PM at The Peter Jay Sharp Theater at Playwrights Horizons.
The evening will spotlight original works by playwrights Lonnie Carter, Kia Corthron, Migdalia Cruz, Kermit Frazier, David Greenspan, Beth Henley, Jeffrey Jones, Philip Kan Gotanda, Quincy Long, Wendy MacLeod, Ellen Maddow, Deb Margolin, David Rabe, Jackie Reingold, Jose Rivera, Kathleen Tolan, and Doug Wright.
Performing these new pieces will be Reed Birney, Juliet Brett, Corthron, Reece dos Santos, Crystal Finn, Frazier, Philip Kan Gotanda, Greenspan, Damon Gupton, Judith Ivey, Hamish Linklater, Maddow, Alfredo Narciso, Maryann Plunkett, Lily Rabe, Jay O. Sanders, Tolan, and Ching Valdes-Aran.
General admission tickets include the performance and an after-party with cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, and seasonal pies. A Premiere admission ticket includes a 6 PM pre-show champagne reception with the writers and a bound and signed copy of the script.
The Tent Theater Company was founded by Co-Artistic Directors Tim Sanford and Aimée Hayes to nurture, support, and advocate for established, elder American playwrights and theatre-makers.
