"It's no Hamilton, that's for sure," states Oscar Proud as he answers his cellphone stopping the very-Hamilton-looking show that he's watching in the March 30 episode of the Disney+ animated series The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder.
Funny man Lamorne Morris (Woke, New Girl) guest stars on the episode as himself appearing as a founding father in the not-Hamilton musical Oscar and Penny Proud (voiced by Tommy Davidson and Kyla Pratt, respectively) are attending. Watch the video above as rude audience member Oscar interrupts Lamorne singing "I Sold Out, I'm Not a Sellout" (composed by Kurt Farquhar, with lyrics from Farquhar and Nkenge Kamau Cameron).
The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder debuted on Disney+ in February 2022. It is a continuation of the original The Proud Family series which ran 2001–2005 on the Disney Channel. In addition to Davidson and Pratt, the series cast includes Paula Jai Parker, Karen Malina White, Aiden Dodson, Bresha Webb, Joe Marie Payton, Soleil Moon Frye, and Alisa Reyes. Stage favorites Zachary Quinto and Billy Porter also appear in supporting roles in the series, as the married dads of Penny's friends Maya and KG.
