Kids' Night on Broadway, a program of The Broadway League that sends kids 18 and under to Broadway shows for free as long as they're accompanied by a full-paying adult, returns August 19.

The 18 participating shows include & Juliet, Aladdin, Buena Vista Social Club, Chicago, The Great Gatsby, Hadestown, Hamilton, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, Hell's Kitchen, John Proctor is the Villain, The Lion King, Mamma Mia!, MJ The Musical, Moulin Rouge! The Musical, Operation Mincemeat: A New Musical, The Outsiders, SIX: The Musical, and Stranger Things: The First Shadow. (The performance date for The Great Gatsby is set for August 20.)

Kids’ Night on Broadway ticket holders are also invited to come to Duffy Square in Times Square August 19 from 4:30 PM-6 PM. Families can take part in activities and meet cast members from their favorite shows; while supplies last, those with a Kids’ Night on Broadway ticket will receive a tote bag and a treat from Krispy Kreme.

Along with the ticket program, Kids' Night on Broadway also includes in-theatre activities (including talkbacks), sing-alongs, activity books, and numerous restaurants in the theatre district and the Museum of Broadway that are offering Kids' Night on Broadway ticket holders with a free kids' meal with the purchase of an adult entrée.

"New York City is alive during the summer and Kids’ Night creates a unique opportunity for families to come to Broadway for an evening of fun,” said Jason Laks, president of The Broadway League, in an earlier statement. “These 18 extraordinary shows offer something for all ages and allow parents, grandparents, or other family members to introduce younger audiences to live theatre and nurture their love for the arts."

The program runs year round in cities across the country. For more information, visit KidsNightOnBroadway.com.
