International News Elf the Musical Will Return to West End's Dominion Theatre for 2nd Year

The musical tells the story of Buddy, a human raised as an elf in the North Pole who goes looking for his family and brings the spirit of Christmas with him.

Elf the Musical will return to London’s Dominion Theatre November 15-January 6, 2024 after a successful run last fall at the West End theatre. Philip Wm. McKinley will return to direct the production, with casting to be announced.

The story, based on the 2003 film starring Will Ferrell, follows Buddy, a human who was raised as an elf in the North Pole. Unable to fit in, Buddy goes to New York City as he searches for his family and a sense of belonging. Along the way, he brings back the spirit and meaning of Christmas to those around him.

Tickets go on sale April 28 at 10 AM.

Featuring a book by Tony winners Thomas Meehan (Annie) and Bob Martin (The Drowsy Chaperone), Elf features songs by Tony nominees Matthew Sklar and Chad Beguelin (The Wedding Singer).

The production will feature from last year's run original set and costume design by Tim Goodchild, choreography by Liam Steel, lighting design by Patrick Woodroffe, video design by Ian William Galloway, and sound by Gareth Owen. Casting by Grindrod Burton Casting.

The musical made its Broadway debut in 2010 at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre and returned there in 2012. Elf the Musical originally made its London premiere at Dominion Theatre.

Elf is produced by Temple Live Entertainment.
