The actors will perform in the main courtyard of Hampton Court Palace to possible audiences of over 3,000 people. The palace was built by one of King Henry VIII's advisors and then given to the king when the advisor fell from favor in 1529. Independent charity Historic Royal Palaces, which now cares for by the site, has partnered with Six to stage the production.
“Bringing the phenomenon that is Six to Hampton Court Palace has been a long-term aspiration," said Liz Young, Head of Events at Historic Royal Palaces, in a statement, "and we’re delighted that this summer loyal fans and newcomers alike will get the chance to experience the award-winning show in the very place where the lives, loves, and legacies of these legendary Queens live on.”
