Jordan Litz Will Make West End Debut in Wicked

The Broadway actor will be part of the 20th anniversary company of the hit musical at the Apollo Victoria.

Jordan Litz, who has played Fiyero in both the Broadway and national touring productions of Wicked, will make his West End debut in that role beginning May 19 at the Apollo Victoria Theatre.

Litz, who has played more than 1,700 performances as Fiyero (more than any other actor), will be part of the 20th anniversary company of London's Wicked. Also joining the cast May 19 will be Claire Machin (The Girls, Les Misérables) as Madame Morrible and Yara Fabricante in her West End debut as Nessarose.

The long-running hit will continue to be led by Emma Kingston as Elphaba, Zizi Strallen as Glinda, Michael Matus as The Wizard, David McKechnie as Doctor Dillamond, and Ross Carpenter as Boq with Laura Emmitt as the Alternate Elphaba and Lydia Gerrard as Standby for Glinda.

The company is completed by Leo Abad, Iroy Abesamis, Elizabeth Armstrong, Steph Asamoah, Meg Astin, Rebecca Bowden, Shaun Chambers, Erin Gisele Chapman, Lauren Chia, Charles Croysdill, Oraine Frater, Emily Goodenough, Katy Hanna, Nat Ingham, Samuel John-Humphreys, Holly Lawrence, Jemima Loddy, Ellie Ann Lowe, Jamel Matthias, Marcus May, Conor O'Hara, Tom Oliver, Abbie Quinnen, Harry Robinson, Jeanie Ryan, Jessica Saisang-Rowe, Jonah Sercombe, Chris Tarsey, Hannah Taylor, and Karen Wilkinson.

Wicked became 10th longest-running production in West End history when it played its 6,762nd performance at the Apollo Victoria Theatre April 24, 2024.

With music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz and a book by Winnie Holzman, the musical is based on the novel Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West by Gregory Maguire.

The Joe Mantello-helmed production features musical staging by Wayne Cilento, scenic design by Eugene Lee, costume design by Susan Hilferty, lighting design by Kenneth Posner, sound design by Tony Meola, projections by Elaine J. McCarthy, wig and hair design by Tom Watson, music supervision and arrangements by Stephen Oremus, orchestrations by William David Brohn, and dance arrangements by James Lynn Abbott.

The hit Broadway production continues at the Gershwin Theatre, while the first half of the two-part film adaptation won two 2025 Academy Awards.
