Lincoln Center Theater/LCT3 will present Aya Ogawa's The Nosebleed Off-Broadway at the Claire Tow Theater, with performances beginning July 16 ahead of an August 1 opening night. The limited run will continue through August 28.
Ogawa, a Tokyo-born playwright whose work focuses on women and non-binary perspectives, will both direct and star in the work, alongside Drae Campbell, Ashil Lee, Saori Tsukada, and Kaili Y. Turner.
The autobiographical work explores the troubled relationship between Ogawa and their late father through a series of vignettes.
LCT is currently presenting a Tony-nominated revival of Thornton Wilder's The Skin of Our Teeth on Broadway in the Vivian Beaumont Theater through May 29; Brian Watkins' Epiphany is set to begin Off-Broadway at the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater May 26. Looking ahead, the company has an Aaron Sorkin-revised revival of Lerner and Loewe's Camelot planned for the Beaumont, set to begin November 3.
