Chicago has announced the full cast of its upcoming U.K. and Ireland tour, including Any Dream Will Do winner and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat star Lee Mead as Billy Flynn. The tour opens at Sunderland Empire May 31 and has dates through July 30.

Mead, who has also starred on the West End in Legally Blonde and Wicked, joins the previously announced Gemma Collins as Mama Morton, Faye Brookes as Roxie Hart, Djalenga Scott as Velma Kelly, Jamie Baughan as Amos Hart, and B.E. Wong as Mary Sunshine.

The full cast also includes Ishmail Aaron, Michelle Andrews, Gabby Antrobus, Delycia Belgrave, Joel Benjamin, Tanisha-Mae Brown, Daniel Clift, Callum Fitzgerald, Emily Goodenough, Billie Hardy, Aaron Jenkins, Liam Marcellino, Theo Reece, Hollie Jane Stephens, and Harrison Wilde.

For select performances, Sinitta will reprise the role of Mama Morton, at Grand Opera House in Belfast, Northern Ireland; Theatre Royal in Plymouth, England; and Venue Cymru in Llandudno, Wales.

Chicago originally opened in New York in 1975 and was revived on Broadway in 1996. The musical, which has won six Tony Awards, two Olivier Awards, and a Grammy Award, features a book Fred Ebb and Bob Fosse with music by John Kander and lyrics by Fred Ebb. The 1996 Broadway revival was choreographed in the style of Bob Fosse by Ann Reinking. Walter Bobbie directed the production which was produced by Barry and Fran Weissler.

The tour has announced dates for Sunderland Empire (May 31-June 4), Grand Opera House, Belfast (June -11), Theatre Royal, Plymouth (June 14-18), New Theatre, Cardiff (June 20-25), Winter Gardens, Blackpool (June 28-July 2), Lyceum Theatre, Sheffield (July 5-9), Theatre Royal, Norwich (July 11-16), New Theatre Oxford (July 18-23), and Venue Cymru, Llandudno (July 25-30).
